Alongside the old long distant trail GR 654 to Santiago de Compostella, Weerwoord offers a stay over for travellers. But it is also possible to stop for a short coffee break!
In all peace of the house and its environment in Étourvy, Weerwoord welcomes pilgrims and other guests. There is space for spirituality, tranquillity and a good conversation. And you can use the space to get inspired by art or to write.
Based on a theological education and spirituality, WeerWoord creates sculptures in bronze and stone that reflect her vision on life. The atelier is also open for guests.
WeerWoord – "re-action" in Dutch – is a project of Ingeborg Crum. The project found its roots in her desire to live predominantly in silence according to the Rules of Benedict. Since 2012 she is able to fulfil this desire in Étourvy, France.
